How To Convert a Fraction to Percent?
Formula is: (numerator ÷ denominator) × 100 = Percent
Example: 12⁄60
Step 1: Convert fraction to a decimal: divide the numerator by the denominator: 12 ÷ 60 = 0.2
So Decimal number is 0.2
Step 2: Multiply the decimal by 100: 0.2 × 100 = 20%
So Percent is equal to 20%
